3 Simple Ways to Look More Confident on Camera

Hi again!
Camera confidence isn't about becoming louder, more extrovert or more 'presenter-like'.
Quite often, it comes down to three simple things.
1 Slow down.
Nerves make most of us speed up. Give your words room to land.
2 Hold your eye line.
If you're speaking directly to camera, treat the lens as one person rather than constantly looking around - don't forget to smile.
3 Finish the thought.
Don't rush to fill every tiny silence. A short pause can make you look more assured, not less.

Confidence on camera is rarely about adding more. Often it’s about removing the nervous habits that get in the way.
It’s something we spend a lot of time helping people recognise and improve at Aspire.
Until next time, Darren
